What remained is age!

​Is it all bad?

And competes with youth.

​Tasted the grapes,

Relished its nectar;

Wine is awaiting—

Time to get tipsy!

​No need to yearn,

No regrets for the goofups.

Isn't age just a number?

Addiction is longing for

Little more excess,

Little more frequent 

and a failure to control

Little more urges & with

A lot more surges!

Addiction is a needless act

But a faulter never sees.

Moderation is a flawless pact

With words like 'Choice' & 'Peace'.

High and dizzy from workahol?

A Golden stick won't save from fall.

So the Kith & Kin alone suffice?

By the month end, see their faces.

Too deep with your Ideals?

Your only chum is the mirror.

So engrossed in scandals?

A news network might hire.

Cunning acts to dominate,

Clinging to the power mandate,

Spending huge on war budget,

Leading to crave for conflict.

Addiction targets mess,

Shreds peace, topels balance.

Moderation expects less,

pain lessens, sense prevails.
